Why I Love America

A Naturalized View

The First Post – A Little about Me

In order to know where I will be coming from, it’s fair to share a bit about how I see the world.

I am a person who believes in a government that is focus on “We the People”.

The government (all layers) serves the people; it is not there to serve itself.

Within acceptable reasons of privacy, procedure, security, there should be full transparency within government.

Elected government officials should be term limited, and not expecting to make public service a career.

I firmly believe in the first amendment, however feel that the mainstream media has cross the line often, making the public believe facts that are untrue. There should be governance and penalties for known and verifiable facts that continue to be repeated publicly.

All those in this country, should have a basic expectation, once you go out on your own, you will support yourself, and not expect to live off “We the People”. It is unfair to the rest of us. I do agree there should be social welfare programs, but for the truly needy. They are not meant to be lived off on, dis-incenting those from seeking normal employment.

Those seeking to temporarily or permanently come here from another country – come in the right way. The expectation is that you are seeking to uphold our laws, confirm to our society, that begins with how you start the conversation. Breaking in, to ask for permission, is the wrong message. Show us you want to be here by showing you can work within our rules.

There must be clear controls and ways to identify who is and is not a US Citizen, on a federally implemented ID card program. This will ensure elections, that should also require this same (free) ID, are only counting votes of living, authorized, US Citizen voters. We must maintain positive control of our republic and not allow abuse of our legislative system be used to manipulate the control of this government to foriegn or corrupt powers.

The Electoral College is brilliant. The separation of powers along with the balance of power within the Electoral Collage is the single most important element of our republic. It allows the States to largely govern themselves, and avoids large States taking control over elections due to sheer population.

If you are someone who truly believes in freedom and everyone’s right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Freedom, how you can you possibly want any other form of governance?
